Designed and built in 1998, the 50m superyacht retains original custom interiors even after the 2021 refurbishment led by Aqua Expeditions Director Birgit Galli Zugaro that saw the addition of two new cabins. A personalized interior makeover that complements the rich history of its destination, Aqua Mare is ready to be enjoyed in all her sophisticated and contemporary glory. Perfected with soft carpeting and luxuriously paneled walls in walnut veneer throughout the entire vessel, sumptuous textiles, personally selected objet d’arts, and premium fittings, accommodation aboard Aqua Mare is befitting of royalty. Aqua Mare also stands out for her grand yet effortless sophistication, impressive large interior spaces, panoramic sundeck, and the lower deck multi-purpose ‘Beach Club’.

Auqa Mare - stylish and elegant

Deck Plan
Spread across four decks, the Aqua Mare presents the epitome of style and elegance expected of a luxury superyacht.

Sun Deck
Aqua Mare’s iconic sun deck is the ideal setting to enjoy the volcanic scenery of the Galapagos Islands. Here, you will find a spacious outdoor barbecue area, an outdoor six-person jacuzzi and sunbeds, as well as a convertible outdoor workout zone.

Upper Deck
The upper deck features the bridge as well as a panoramic lounge decked out in Italian Carrara marble, wooden veneer paneling, and personally selected antique art prints. There is also a lobby bar and an outdoor deck which is equipped for all-weather dining. The ship’s only CAT V suite is located on this deck.

Main Deck
The main deck features Aqua Mare’s CAT I Owner’s Suite — at 80 sqm, it’s the largest of its kind in the Galapagos Islands — and a CAT II suite, as well as the Dining Room.

Lower Deck
The lower deck hosts the CAT III and CAT IV suites. The highlight of this level is the large lounge named the ‘Beach Club’, so-called because it is located at the water level and acts as a launchpad for our twice-daily excursions.
