Sailing the Danube River, the next member of our Super ShipTM fleet will be inspired by master Viennese painter Gustav Klimt. In his honor, we’re naming the vessel after his beloved muse, Emilie Flöge. When she debuts in 2026, the S.S. Emilie will bring elements of Klimt’s signature style to our guests, with dramatic hues, Art Nouveau elements, and stunning pops of gold. Guests who book a Grand Suite and the adjoining Deluxe French Balcony next door can see their stateroom transformed into an incredibly spacious 2-bedroom suite.

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, together with its preferred partner Yacht Cruise Company, presented its newest Super Ship, the Emilie, which accommodates 154 guests, to a select group of Belgian travel agents in Antwerp. The ship marks a new era for Uniworld and is the first newbuild since the S.S. Joie de Vivre.
The launch coincided with Uniworld’s 50th anniversary and represents a milestone in the company’s history.
With this launch, Uniworld underscores its ambition to combine luxury river cruises with art, culture, and craftsmanship. International Sales and Marketing Manager Jeroen van der Linden: “The ship is inspired by Emilie Flöge, Gustav Klimt’s muse, and serves as a floating tribute to Vienna’s artistic golden age.
The interior is designed in the elegant Art Nouveau style, bringing the city’s rich cultural history to life in every detail.”
